A Joyous Occasion: Italian Ambassador Visits the CEF

On Monday, June 10th, CEF was thrilled to welcome the Italian Ambassador, Alberto Petrangeli, and his delegation for a day filled with celebration and inspiration.

Highlights of the Visit

The visit kicked off at Maison Kiwele, where CEF President Denise Bison Zunino warmly greeted the delegation. She shared an inspiring overview of CEF's mission and achievements, setting the tone for the day. This was followed by an enlightening guided tour led by the center's Director, Falonne Kazadi, showcasing the diverse programs and facilities at Maison Kiwele.

The excitement continued at CEF's Prospettiva Village. Ambassador Petrangeli, accompanied by Mr. Zunino, enjoyed a presentation on the Msichana Academy and Kabumbu Football School.

The team expressed their heartfelt desire to host the Ambassador again, looking forward to exploring further collaborations and support.

Shared Joy and Celebration

The visit culminated in a festive meal shared between the Ambassador and the children of the Prospettiva Village. Adding a special touch to the day, each child received a copy of The Pimpa book, generously donated by the Ambassador.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and warmth, and the day was crowned by a heartfelt celebration of Mr. Zunino's birthday. The assembly joined in a spirited celebration, adding a personal touch to an already memorable day.
